Virat-Anushka raised 16 crores for the treatment of a child suffering from a serious illness

 Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma have saved the life of a small child named Ayansh with serious illness by raising Rs 16 crores.




Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his actress wife Anushka Sharma have saved the life of a small child named Ayansh with serious illness by raising Rs 16 crores.
The child named Ayansh Gupta was struggling with a disease called spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The drug Jolgensma, which is required for the treatment of this disease, is worth Rs 16 crore, but Ayansh's family was not able to raise that much money.

 

To raise money, Ayansh's parents created an account on Twitter called 'AyanshfightSMA' and sought help from the people. In this campaign, Virat and Anushka also jumped in and raised the necessary money together with their fans to treat Ayansh.


Ayansh's family has thanked Virat and Anushka on the Twitter handle for this collaboration. In the tweet, they wrote that 'We never thought that this difficult journey would have such a beautiful end. We are very happy to say that we have obtained the amount of 16 crores required for the medicine of Ayansh. Many thanks to all those who supported us. This is your victory.’
