 India has prepared this drug against Corona, which is expected to give relief to the people. The first batch of 10 thousand doses of the drug will be launched on Monday, after which it will be given to covid patients.




DRDO officials said that this drug helps in the quick recovery of patients and also reduces their dependence on oxygen. For the treatment of covid-19 infected patients, the first batch of 10,000 doses of 2-DG medicine will arrive at the beginning of the week and it will be given to the patients.


 Drug manufacturers are working on accelerating the production of the drug for future use. A team of scientists along with medicine doctor Anant Narayan Bhatt has been formed.


This drug has performed very well in the clinical trials of Phase 2 and Phase 3. In the trial conducted between May and October, the drug worked on covid patients and it was also safe. The days of hospitalization due to the use of the drug were also short and there was no need to take oxygen support.

 

Experts say that this drug is a kind of pseudo glucose molecule, which prevents the coronavirus from growing. This drug has become one of the few medicines in the world, which have been specially made to prevent covid.
